Board and Advisory Leadership

Daryl Schloz has built a distinguished record of governance and advisory service across business, civic, and educational organizations. His commitment to education and community development is reflected in his leadership at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School, where he served as Executive Project Manager for a $37.6 million campus expansion completed in 2025. In this volunteer role, Daryl oversaw design and construction while managing budgets, contractors, and stakeholder coordination—delivering a state-of-the-art educational facility that will serve future generations.

As an Executive Board Member and Investor with the Gulf South Angel Network since 2012, Daryl mentors early-stage founders and helps guide scalable growth strategies. Since joining the Executive Board in 2015, he has played a key role in evaluating high-growth ventures and strengthening investor relations. His governance experience also extends to the American Red Cross, where he provides strategic oversight for disaster response and fundraising initiatives, and to the Chamber of Commerce, where he contributes to regional economic development and workforce competitiveness.

Beyond business and philanthropy, Daryl has shaped long-term community development as a member of the St. John Parish Planning & Zoning Commission, helping define sustainable growth policy.

Consulting and Strategic Advisory

As Principal Consultant at Schloz Consulting since 2010, Daryl partners with organizations to enhance leadership effectiveness, streamline operations, and drive measurable performance gains. His consulting practice focuses on leadership coaching, process improvement, and strategic restructuring across industries ranging from manufacturing to technology and agriculture.

Under his guidance, clients have achieved significant improvements in profitability, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. Daryl’s approach combines executive mentoring with organizational design and business continuity planning—empowering leaders to build resilient, high-performance cultures capable of sustained success.

Corporate Leadership and Global Operations

Before entering advisory work, Daryl enjoyed a distinguished 37-year career with John Deere & Company, culminating as President and General Manager overseeing global operations in North and South America. In this role, he led 850 employees across facilities in the U.S. and Brazil with full P&L responsibility for three major product lines—achieving a 35% OROA, industry-leading profitability, and market leadership in all categories. His tenure was marked by successful post-acquisition integration of CAMECO, a unified global culture, and recognition for both workplace safety and environmental excellence.

Earlier, as General Manager of Phoenix International, he oversaw the integration of an electronics manufacturer into the Deere family, achieving a 55% reduction in assets and 10% cost savings through strategic realignment. As Manager of Product Implementation at John Deere’s Product Development Center, he led the global launch of a $300 million harvester program that expanded worldwide market share by 11%.

Throughout his early years in engineering, manufacturing, and labor relations, Daryl led large-scale operations—including the world’s largest combine factory—and successfully negotiated UAW contracts while implementing continuous-improvement systems. His leadership consistently elevated productivity, quality, and engagement across every business unit he touched.
